How esosport run works
What is esosport RUN
esosport RUN is the first project in Italy and Europe dedicated to recycling worn-out sports shoes (sneakers), aimed at companies, retail stores, municipalities, and public administrations.
Using the esoSport bag and dedicated ESObox containers (made from recycled cardboard), citizens can deposit their running shoes, sneakers, or flip-flops (provided they have a rubber sole) at designated collection points.
The collected shoes are then processed at the ESO RECYCLING plant in Tolentino (MC), thanks to Shoeberth, an innovative machine capable of separating the sole from the upper, transforming the materials into secondary raw materials (rubber, fabrics, etc.), ready to be reintroduced into new production cycles.
esosport RUN is a commercial project: it can be purchased by public and private entities interested in activating concrete processes of circular economy and environmental sustainability.
